Get out of your head NOW!

It can get really scary in there
Stuck in your own head everywhere
But you can’t spend waiting
The rest of your life relating
Stuck in your own dark place debating
Shout, shout
Get out, get out
Of your own head Now!

Live without Worrying

I thought I would be
The one to see the end of this world
As my friends spread the rumour
I asked my father what was truer
He said “It doesn’t matter
If the world is to end tomorrow
What you have to do is learn to live
As if there will always be a tomorrow
Why do you worry
And want to be in a hurry
When the world will still be there
With you here
Look what the world has to offer
Beyond the dark clouds that don’t matter
As long as the world is rotating
The seasons will keep changing
Just don’t live with indifference
Learn to make a difference”
Then I saw the world with all the butter
And promised to live for the better

None Better Than Me

I went to play
But there were better players than me
I went to study
But there were better students than me
I went to work
But there were better workers than me
I went to build
But there were better builders than me
I went to create
But there were better creators than me
I went to explore
But there were better explorers than me
I went to lead
But there were better leaders than me
No matter what I did or where I went
There were better people than me
I’m glad that I was among the best
And there are none like me
I went to live my life to do my best
And there are none better than me

In this highly competitive and fast paced world, it’s difficult to find contentment and solace. Every person is unique and good at something or the other but the best just live their lives without jealousy and hatred. It’s a matter of finding your role and purpose, and doing your best.

Reasons

My flight to tomorrow
To take me higher
Where there is everything
The way I dreamt it today

What more to expect

With the world spinning
And the tides turning
What more to expect
A lot more peace
The world singing
And hearts beating
The more I get
The more I respect
The tune it’s humming
